Frostbite: Chapter 2
---------------------------------------
An ice-cold breeze blew down my neck and I cringed. It was getting colder as night fell around us, and my wet clothes had a thin coat of ice forming on them.
Concern momentarily crossed Jack’s face. “You must be freezing, we need to get you home” he said with a mischievous smile.
Before I could protest, he grabbed me and scooped me into his arms, soaring into the sky. “Close your eyes!” he shouted, laughing. I felt an Artic wind billowing around us, chilling me to the bone.
I dared open my eyes, only to let out a shriek. I scrambled at Jack frantically. “How!?” I managed to squeak, staring at him incredulously.
“Magic”, he answered with a wink. My arms were wrapped around him in a death grip. He laughed. "Isn’t this fun!" he shouted into the wind.
"No, stop it!" I yelled. I pressed my head into his chest, unwilling to look below.
He paused in the air and attempted to loosen my grip a bit. "Trust me ____” he said softly.
Slowly, I lifted my head from his chest and looked down. It was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen. Below us stretched a world covered in white, with tiny lights shining from distant houses. I was completely breathless.
“Show-off”, I teased as we began to fly in the direction of the lights. I rested my head on his chest again and closed my eyes, trying hard not to notice how his body felt pressed against my own. He was colder than ice, but felt soft and warm at the same time.
Before I knew it, Jack was perching on my windowsill. I pushed the window open and slid out of his embrace. He stepped lightly into my bedroom as I pulled the window shut. Warmth crept back into my fingers, and I sighed. My head was still spinning from our flight.
Jack leaned his staff against the wall and plopped on my bed as I scrambled about, frantically shoving dirty clothes into the corner and picking up a week’s worth of mess that covered my small room. I certainly wasn’t expecting company… from a gorgeous mythical being…

I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. It may be a couple of days before I get Chapter 3 out, so hang in there!
If you have unanswered questions after reading this, don't worry. Remember that you are a bit shell-shocked still from meeting Jack freaking Frost . You'll have a few questions for him as your mind clears...

Jack Frost x Reader (Chapter 6)
~Previously on this story...~
You all watched as the "populars" fell like dominos and Jack laughed from above them. You smiled. Tessa, Sammy, and Emily had to support each other from falling as they laughed. Seeing this as a opportunity to leave you waved Jack over as you all walked to the park. Leaving behind a moaning and groaning pile of "populars."

Chapter One.
Just another day in your little town, Christmas had passed just over a week ago and as the new year rolled in, you couldn't help but think that spending New Year on your Tumblr dashboard was the best way to bring in the New Year, but, everyone was busy.
Your friends were invited to parties and your parent(s) were going out, even your eleven-year-old brother had been invited to his friend's house!
You sighed heavily, as you lay on your bed, staring up to the ceiling above, making patterns out of boredom, but thoughts trailed into your head, thoughts that could not be explained or given a straightforward an

Jack Frost.
Jack Frost is standing before you. The spirit of myth upon myth is in your living room, staring happily at you, arms crossed.
He’s not just a myth after all, you think to yourself. There’s no way this is a hallucination. No amount of rubbing your eyes and blinking can make this go away. You pinch yourself. This is real. You begin to feel lightheaded and slink down to the floor, sitting Indian-style and staring at the carpet.
The fantasy from your books that you always get lost in has finally come to be a reality. You’re in your own fiction story, n
